With nowhere to go, we decided to grab a 2-in-1 pass that allows us to access the underwater world and the Wildlife park at Darling Harbour.

You can see how uninviting is the sky.
We decided to hit the Underwater world first..

NGEO photographer wannabe

Australia's very unique, Platypus~ (which is a pain to snap, even with a lowlight lens!)

I'm kicking myself silly for not having a polarizer at that time..check out the reflection off the water!

They look a lot like dogs...playful and cheeky.

Center of attraction

by now you must be wondering "Why does it look like the ones you can get back here?"
My answer? Other than the Platypus...its basically the same as any other Underwater worlds.
Despite the similarities, we spent a good 3 hour in that place poking touch-pool critters and marveling at the size of their wildlife (they are seriously twice as big as compared to the ones back here.).... was it worth the money? I would say... "Okay-lah".
Day 4 would be much more interesting.. Promise!
Enjoy =)
